Dignity First: Helping to feed Logan Locals

Cooking classes are underway in Logan over Homeless week (4th-10th of August 2019). The classes will lend a helping hand for those in need by teaching them how to cook up healthy meals at the ADRA in Woodridge.

The Palaszczuk Government’s Dignity First Fund has provided $74,006 to assist with a new commercial kitchen for the ADRA in Woodridge. The Dignity First Fund is aimed at supporting innovation for homelessness and helping to provide dignity to those experiencing homelessness.

The new Kitchen at ADRA in Woodridge includes cooktops and modern appliances. Cooking classes are underway and are amid at providing the knowledge for locals to cook healthy and low sugar meals and deserts.
