Logan Suburbs leading the way with Solar

A new report issued by Climate Council Australia has identified the Queensland Suburbs leading the way with rooftop Solar Power panels. There are 25 suburbs in Queensland where more than 50% of homes have rooftop solar panels.

Logan is leading the way with a significant presence in the top 10 suburbs with Solar Panels.

Coming in at number 2 with 60.9% of homes containing rooftop solar panels is Jimboomba & South/North Maclean. There is a total of 3479 installations.

3rd Place goes to Tamborine with 59.6% of homes containing rooftop solar panels. There is a total of 846 installations.

10th place on the list is Boronia Heights, Greenbank, Lyons and New Beith with 56.1% of homes contain rooftop solar panels. There is a total of 3728 installations.

On average throughout Queensland 1 out of 3 homes have solar panels that help reduce their power bill. Current and new solar projects will help create 4500 jobs and create almost 10 Billion dollars of investment in Queensland.
