These days dogs are part of the family and more often live inside and even sleep on beds. Most of us love taking our best friend for adventures however it can often be difficult to find new and exciting places to explore.
Here in Logan, we are about 30-50 minutes away from the nearest dog friendly beach so dog owners often end up at the local dog park. Lucky there are numerous designated dog parks and off-leash areas to explore throughout Logan.
- Flagstone Dog Park – One of the newest dog parks open to Logan is located in the new estate of Flagstone. The Flagstone dog park features both a small and large dog off-leash area with an added extra. Your dog will be able to cool down on a hot summers day with water fountains available to both small and large dogs. Take a sneak peek here.
- Alexandar Clark Agility Dog Park (Deware Drive, Loganholme) – Features a large off-leash dog area and a designated small dog area. Both sections also offer agility obstacles to get your dogs brain working.
- Logan River Parklands (Blackbird Street, Beenleigh) – Features a big off-leash area for your dog to run around and set within beautiful parklands. There is also a children’s park nearby.
- Isle of Ely Park (Isle of Ely Drive, Heritage Park) – Located within a nice parkland and near a small playground, this park features a separate small and bid dog enclosure with a park nearby.
