The Red Bridge of Logan
The former 1930’s toll bridge located over the Logan River at Beenleigh is going under a 2.5 million dollar renovation. The renovations include painting the bridge in a ‘Waratah Red’ and general structural repairs to safeguard it for the future.
Thousands of motorists driving on the Pacific Motorway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast pass the Red Bridge of Logan Each day and it has cemented itself as an iconic landmark of Logan.
Construction was due to be finalised in June of 2019 however work in still progress. The Bridge is still open to members of the public.

Logan Locals recently attended the Red Bridge to check out the progress. The ‘Waratah Red’ paint job is eye-catching and the section of the bridge visible almost appears brand new.
